Ryan Soldan

Ryan Soldan is the founder and president of 4 DIAMONDS. He has successfully been recruiting accounting and finance professionals throughout the Midwest for over 24 years. He has completed searches for a variety of functions including controlling, financial reporting, tax, audit, and operational finance.

Ryan has experience recruiting and consulting across numerous industries, such as middle-market family-owned companies, global professional services firms, multi-national automotive and non-automotive companies, and regional real estate firms.

Ryan began his recruiting career with a national professional services firm where he provided consulting and permanent staffing solutions for a variety of organizations from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

After 13 successful years, Ryan then joined a boutique search firm as an Executive Recruiter where he recruited for a wide variety of companies primarily those who were private equity owned.

In 2020, Ryan leveraged his experience and went out on his own and formed his own firm – 4 DIAMONDS. Fun fact: Ryan’s wife came up with the name, 4 DIAMONDS. It combines his love for baseball (baseball diamond) and their 4 kids – their 4 diamonds. As the owner, Ryan is intimately involved in the entire search process helping his clients hire the best people.

Ryan began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he rotated through both audit and tax functions, in addition to obtaining his CPA. Ryan was a scholar athlete at Hillsdale College where he earned his bachelor’s in accounting.

On a personal level, Ryan was born and raised in the metro Detroit area and knows the Michigan job market very well. He graduated from DeLaSalle Collegiate High School in the early 90’s and would do it all over again given the tremendous friendships he made and still has to this day. He had the opportunity to continue playing baseball at Hillsdale College and pursue a liberal arts education which has served him well throughout his career. And most importantly, Hillsdale is where he met his wife.

Ryan has interviewed thousands of candidates over his career and still enjoys learning about one’s professional journey – their story. He feels privileged to have played a part in opening doors for so many candidates across so many different industries, which still motivates him today.
